Make a Pledge to Myself: An apple a day

This week isn't all about what I'm giving up -- it's also about what I'm adding to attempt to make my life better.

On any given week, I eat 3-4 apples. But what would happen if I eat more?

It's a simple, and very easy, healthy choice. It's much easier to eat an apple every day than it is to give up chips. There's no reason not to just make sure I eat an apple every single day.

Call it an "apple streak" if you want, but I won't ... I'm simply going to add in this goal to eat an apple every day through at least Dec. 31.
